Rental House

The Alpine Country Inn and Suites also offers a beautiful Vacation Rental home conveniently located just three miles from the Whiteface Mountain Ski and Mountain Bike Center and 12 miles from Lake Placid.

This private and secluded home features two bedrooms, two full baths, fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, spacious outdoor deck and grill, campfire pit and swingset. The bedrooms feature a queen bed in the master and two double beds in the second, and have plenty of closet space. The living room has a queen-sized pull-out couch, a 27" Cable TV with video/audio output, a VCR with some VCR kids movies and a DVD player. There are also board games, cards and puzzles in one of the kitchen cabinets. The deck has a picnic table where you can relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of a babbling brook.

Maximum 6 guests. No pets please.

Daily Rate: $215 per nite, 2-nite minimum

Holiday Rate: $250 per nite, 3 nite minimum

Special Event Rate: $300 per nite, 5 nite minimum

Ski Packages can be adjusted to your partys' needs; just tell us how many people(Adult,Teen,Junior,Senior) and how many days you will be skiing and we can give you a discounted ski package rate. Ski passes can be changed up to the day you purchase the tickets from us.

Reservation Policies:

Minimum Stay: The house must be rented for at least 2 nights. Weekly rentals can start any day of the week.

Maximum # of People: 6 persons maximum...If we find you have more than the maximum there will be a $100 charge per person per night and we reserve the right to ask you to leave with no refund.

Deposit: A deposit of one nite’s stay including tax is required to confirm a reservation. We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover. Checks will be acceptable only if received 60 days prior to your arrival date.

Check-In Time: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you are scheduled to arrive after 10:00 p.m. please call us in advance so that arrangements can be made.

Check-Out Time: 10 a.m. - strictly enforced. Security deposit(hold) to be released upon review of departure check-list.

During your stay:

Linens: We provide bed linens(sheets blankets and pillows only). Please bring your own bath towels. There will be a $25 charge(per person, per day) if we have to supply towels!!

Kitchen: The kitchen is fully stocked to accommodate the maximum number of people. Please let us know if a dish/glass is broken so we can replace it for the next tenant.

Telephone: If you want to use the telephone please let us know. There is a charge associated with all long distance calls. Lake Placid is considered long-distance. Local calls are free and are limited to 946- numbers. (518)946-2263 is the phone number you should give to anyone who wishes to reach you. We will NOT forward any calls from our '800' number.

Security Deposit: A $300.00 security deposit will be held on your credit card at check-in. The security deposit will be release from your credit card upon inspection of the rental house at check-out. If house is not in order according to the Departure Check-List below, part or all of the security deposit will be forfeited.

Pets: Pets are not permitted. The owner has severe pet allergies. If it is found that a pet has been on the property a $200.00 per day pet fee will be deducted from the security deposit and you will be asked to leave without a refund.

Lost and Found: Alpine Country Inn & Suites is not responsible for any personal items left in the house. If something is left behind and you would like us to return it, we will mail the item along with the receipt for the mailing charge. Please send a check for the amount or give us a call with a credit card to charge.

Owner Closets: These closets are for the owner’s use. Please do not try to open them. If you break into the closet a repair/missing item fee will be deducted from the security deposit.

Toys and Videos: There are toys/games/puzzles/books in the drawer to the right of the refrigerator and video’s by the T.V. Please put all games and/or toys back in it’s original container before checking out.

Cancellation Policy: If a cancellation is made 30 days or more prior to the arrival date the deposit will be returned(via check) less a 20% handling fee. If a cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to the arrival date, your deposit will be forfeited unless we can re-book the house for the entire length of your stay. This does not include special event weekends.

Departure Check-List:
As your thoughts turn to traveling home, please observe this departure checklist for a worry-free trip home, and as a courtesy to the guests following you.

Please leave the house in the same condition as it was found. We require the following:

All furnishings placed in their original positions.
All dishes cleaned and put away. This includes unloading the dishwasher.
All trash bagged and placed in an outside trash container. Recyclables too!
Refrigerator emptied of all food and wiped clean.
Any unopened canned/dry goods that you don't wish to bring home can be dropped off at the office with your keys and will be taken to the local food pantry.
Please check under beds, behind doors and in all drawers and closets for your personal items. When requested, lost items will be returned at your own cost.
Kitchen counters and appliances wiped free of smudges and spills.
All floors swept and vacuumed free of crumbs.
Please close and lock all windows and doors and leave blinds open.
Make sure all appliances(air conditioners, coffee maker, lights, etc.) are turned off.
Turn thermostat to 50 degrees.

Failure to do any of the following will result in loss of security deposit.
